The Courts of Hell is my thing >.<! Lol but actually this is very cool. I'm surprised more people haven't run with this idea, it always seemed obvious to me how well the Chinese Courts of Hell would work as aD&D-style dungeon.

I know, right? It's still a mostly untapped vein. I'll have to check out Maximum Recursion Depth: it seems really interesting!
